New York State Board of Regents Approves Partnership Between Polytechnic University and New York University

- The New York State Board of Regents voted in favor of Polytechnic University and New York University's affiliation to become Polytechnic Institute of New York University, effective today, July 1, 2008. The vote took place on June 24, 2008.
- The partnership between New York University and Polytechnic University referred to by Polytechnic President Jerry Hultin as "the perfect fit between two great universities" will benefit students, New York, the nation and the world.
