General Information

  • You are required to register every semester for the duration of your academic program at Polytechnic Institute of NYU.

  • You are required to be a full time student at Polytechnic Institute of NYU.

  • As an undergraduate student you must register for a minimum of 12 credits every semester.

  • As a graduate student you are required to register for no fewer than 9 credits every semester.

  • Graduate Ph.D. students who passed qualifying examinations are required to take no less than 6 academic credits per semester.

  • MS and Ph.D. graduate students should refer to the University Catalogue for additional information regarding full time status during the period needed to complete the writing or defense of dissertation.

  • You must familiarize yourself thoroughly with the information contained in the Polytechnic Institute of NYU Catalog and updates in the semester schedule of classes.
