It is essential for you to note that Immigration (USCIS) sets strict procedures for international students who need to withdraw or take a leave of absence. If you do not comply with these requirements you risk a loss of your immigration status.
Students who take a leave of absence or withdraw from the University for valid non-medical reasons with the approval of the OISS are required to depart the United States within 15 days of approval.
