Recruit On Campus

The Career Management Center is dedicated to providing quality service to its students and those organizations and companies who seek to recruit Polytechnic students. Our staff has designed a number of services to assist you in identifying talented and technically-trained personnel to meet your employment needs. Our largest employment program is the On-Campus Recruiting program outlined below.

Registration Procedures
Contact JoAnne Davis, jdavis@poly.edu (Brooklyn Campus) at Career Services to schedule a fall recruiting date. You will receive written confirmation regarding recruiting dates. Forward company literature to campus prior to your recruiting date.

Suggested Pre-Recruiting Activities

  • Company Presentations.
  • Employer Workshops/Panel Events.
  • Meet with faculty and Career Services Staff.
  • Career Fairs.
  • Company advertisements in student newspaper ( Brooklyn - "The Reporter")
  • Additional Recruiting Services
  • Alumni Employment Newsletter - a semi-monthly publication in which you can advertise your available positions.
  • Resume Referrals.
  • Job Postings - publicize full-time, part-time and summer positions available in your organization.
  • Your Company Presence at Polytechnic
    Participate in our Cooperative Education and Summer Internship Programs.
  • Sponsor student organization events (corporate scholarships and company presentations, company tours.)
  • Employer Checklist
    Schedule fall /spring recruiting date with Career Services
    Brooklyn Campus, (718) 260-3650.
  • Receive written confirmation regarding recruiting dates and/or presentation.
  • Submit job description to Career Services.
    Mail company brochures and literature
  • Obtained resumes for screening.
  • Return list of candidates names selected to interview.
  • Arrange travel plans to the university
